How Businesses Use Instagram Stories: 30 Case Studies (Infographic) | 99Firms
Some interesting stats and takeaways from the Infographic:
“1 in 3 of the most viewed Stories are from businesses”
“20% of Stories posted by businesses result in a direct interaction with the user.”
Top Types of Stories by brands:
product promotion: 36%
an inside look (of the business): 22%
Stories with a geotagged location hashtag get 79% more engagement
So how can you apply what you’ve learned from these bigger brands?
If you sell products, then it makes sense to use Stories for product demos, promotions, and testimonials.
Use your Stories and/or Instagram account to send users to a product page for easy purchases.
If you’re a service-related business, then you may want to use Stories for a behind-the-scenes look at your brand or for sharing some helpful tips with your target audience.
You can encourage users to send you a direct message from Stories for immediate engagement.
