One interesting result is that time spent on Instagram increased more than other sites. As noted in the article:
“As a more mobile-centric network, Instagram could be taking a bigger share of time as a source of entertainment and distraction.”
Can you use this information to help your business?
If you already have an Instagram account for business, consider posting content that is entertaining, uplifting, and positive.
If you don’t have an account on Instagram, it may be a good time to create one and share content right now that serves as entertainment or distraction.
Tip: research a few hashtags that may fit your content and that are relatable to our new normal. You can do this on mobile or desktop with the built-in search option.
For example, if you type in hashtags like #sharethegood or #weareallinthistogether you’ll see how many posts are using each hashtag, top, and recent posts using the hashtag, as well as related hashtags.
Doing some hashtag research will help your content strategy.
