Creating an Effective Call to Action in your Digital Marketing

Are you using an effective call-to-action in your digital marketing? You want to encourage users to take action, such as “Book an appointment”, “Get your free eBook”, etc. with a call-to-action that speaks to your target audience.

Perfecting Your Digital Call-To-Action (With Examples!) | Marketing Insider Group 

There are three elements in a good CTA (call-to-action):

  • Your CTA provides clarity on your content
  • Powerful CTAs give your user or reader direction on what to do next
  • The click-through-rate (CTR) on your CTA will show results if everything is on point

Check out some examples in the article and work on making your call-to-action less boring than the standbys:

  • Submit
  • Contact Us
  • Buy Now

A Tip from me:

Optimize the space on your social media profiles that allow you to put in a call-to-action. For example:

On Facebook, you can use the CTA button on your Page to encourage people to send a message, learn more, shop now, etc.

On Instagram, a business account gets options for Action buttons in its profile: Call, Email or Get Directions.

Other sites may not have CTA “buttons”, but if you have space to include your own call-to-action plus a website link, take advantage of it.

For example, on my Twitter profile, I included a CTA with a link to subscribe to free resources (see screenshot):
